Bridging Beyond Borders supports the goals of the Dual Language Program in Pearland Independent School District. The purpose of the organization is to create programming that will enhance the educational experience of the students enrolled in the Dual Language Program resulting in students who are bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural.
Bridging Beyond Borders was created in November of 2017 by a group of parents with students enrolled in the Dual Language Elementary in order to provide additional resources for the Dual Language Program at Cockrell Elementary. In the Fall of 2018, the program expanded to include All schools participating in the Dual Language program.
